1997                Jointly organised international course by Professor Shprintzen on State of the Art in Clefting/Craniofacial Anomalies.

1998                Initiated, planned, developed and delivered course for postgraduate speech and language therapists: Cleft Palate/Palatal Anomalies Course.InstituteofChild Healthon an annual basis until 2001.

2001                Joint delivery of day’s course to SLTs Trent Region on Cleft palate/Velopharyngeal Anomalies

2001                Invited to undertake a day’s training for postgraduate SLTs in the North East Region on Velopharyngeal Dysfunction.

2002                Joint Organiser of the first national multidisciplinary Prosthetics Course for speech problems associated with velopharyngeal dysfunction. Repeated 2003.

2003                Contributor to the National SIG Cleft Palate/Velopharyngeal Insufficiency Course, Southern Ireland,Cork.

2003-               Annual contributor to the Postgraduate National Course, Homerton,Cambridge. VPI , and in its new locationSheffieldUniversity.

2003               Joint organiser of 2 day postgraduate course on Communication and feeding in Complex Cleft and Craniofacial Anomalies, ICH.

2004, 2006      Joint organiser International Workshop for Cleft Lip and Palate Teams.Institute of Child Health.

2005, 2009      Jointly initiated planned and organised national training programme on cleft speech analysis tool CAPSA

2007                Initiated, planned and organised first national endoscopy training course for speech and velopharyngeal function,Institute of Child Health
